Our first tomboy style fashion personality is style – art – industry – journo – fashion schizo, Tine Andrea from The Fashion Eaters blog where she hopes to kick up the dust on your outfits of the day. Chuck out the ripped tees. Tine’s taste is classic tomboy from top to bottom with a nice dose of swag.
Tine works as a fashion writer and stylist. Check out her inspiring tomboy styles on her Instagram account and ask her where she got those beaded loafers from while you’re at it. We might want to create it in our next arts and crafts lesson. Hehe!
Aleali May is an image consultant, model, and fashion blogger. While studying at Columbia College Chicago in 2010, she began her career in fashion working for Louis Vuitton and RSVP Gallery. Aleali enjoys the opportunity to create with others and since then, she’s collaborated with many world renowned brands such as Audi USA, Nike, and Adidas. AlealiMay.com is a self-titled blog which serves as a creative outlet to share her experiences in fashion, travel, and entertainment.
“When it comes to Louboutins, most women purchase heels as their first pair, but I got the sneakers instead,” she says. High-five girlfriend! We usually dash straight for the sneakers too.
Check out her cool tomboy style here where she’s rocking major street tomboy with oversized tee tucked nice and sloppy into a pair of harem pants finished off with black socks and heels. Check out more of Aleali’s outfits of the day on her Instagram account.
Darja Barannik is a Russian-Norwegian Fashion Editor and journalist born in St.Petersburg, Russia, and raised in Norway with her family. Additionally, she has worked as a TV-host for an online TV-concept on Fashion and Trends, as well as being a journalist. To date Darja is titled Fashion Editor for Norway’s biggest woman site.
In this photo, Darja has gone the route of prep school, classic tomboy style. In her outfit of the day, she has paired off flared skinnies with a perfectly cut beige jacket with heels and a summer-tinged orange bag. The look is sharp and a great wear to the office and after. Check out more of her tomboy-influenced styles on her Instagram account.
Patricia Mansfield is the founder of Atelier and is a musician from Milan, Italy. She’s nothing short of a wizard when it comes to unexpected outfit combinations. Here she is in full tomboy mode in casual boyfriend jeans, tees and Adidas Originals. If you’re one of her 230K+ Instagram followers, you might know this, but it bears repeating, she’s incredibly warm and welcoming. So go say hello to her and get fashion tips on how she puts all her outfits of the day together, OK?
Cara Delevingne’s Instagram mantra is “Don’t worry. Embrace your weirdness.” That pretty much sums Cara in a nutshell. Never one to fall into a mould everyone else expects her to, this model/actress recently chilled the bone out of audiences as The Enchantress in DC Comic’s Suicide Squad. While she still needs a lot of work in the acting department, she has got her tomboy swag on when it comes to her personal style. Here, she combines a 60s mod look with baseball cap and what can we say? It’s a look that can jet-set your tomboy look to higher altitudes. Fly Cara, fly!

Kildaphew is a Norwegian music-duo founded by Danielle Brogden and Andreas Lanesjord. The two Oslo-based musicians combine backgrounds from rap and pop music into an organic and electronic mix of elements, ending up with deep truths and melodic backdrops. Their first single “Paperthin” was released in May 2015, which brought them a lot of interest and gigs at various tastemaker events around Oslo. The duo was also chosen as support for Jurrasic 5, when the group came to one of Oslo’s biggest venues.
Danielle is photographed here by @Jaiperdumavaste in a cool leather jacket, tee and backpack which is a great urban tomboy style look to wear on a casual weekend out. You can follow Kildaphew on Instagram.
