Ellen Page is an LGBT icon in Hollywood but it hasn’t stopped her from maintaining her chic style with pageboy hair cut. Her easy, tomboy-next-door relaxed style has always been something that her fans and tomboys all over the world take their style cues from. Here she dons a button-down shirt, jeans and hooded black bomber jacker with her usual ease and style. Ellen, along with her co-host, producer and filmmaker, Ian Daniel, seen here are now involved in“GAYCATION” – a flagship series for VICELAND, Vice Media’s television channel, which launched last year and is overseen by Spike Jonze. The four-episode first season — which nabbed an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program — took viewers around the world with Page and Daniel as they explored LGBTQ life in different communities. Check out her other photos on her Instagram account.
All chique. All style and all coolness. This is what you get when you stroll the photos of @Miss_ChiqueandStylish’s Instagram account. Tailored suits and accessories do a harmonious tango with the sneaks she wears. This week, she does a pseudo Stevie Nicks look with floppy sun hat, coat and boots. Wear it in grey, black or earth tones, doesn’t matter. This 70s rock-influenced look is cool, cool, cool. Now go your own way.
@ENEMOOD FOR @FARFETCH
Seoul-based photographer Alex Finch, who does photography for S.Korea’s VOGUE is on assignment again for @FarFetch with model @enemood in an outfit that is classic 50s tomboy chic with a tailored, navy blue blouse matched with elastic band palazzo pants. These wide pants are coming back in fashion and they’re great with heels and attitude.
Pickpocket is a collective that describe themselves as Bargain Aunties with a taste for authentic, thrifty outfits. Here we see some of this thrifty being put together in a relaxed, tailored tomboy styled shirt and pant look topped up with a fitted blazer. A great look for those job interviews or just snagging some raised gender bending eyebrow attention at that conservative old arty-farty boardroom presentations.
Lena Dunham may be moving from HBO’s ‘Girls’ to Lenny the newsletter but her voice has always been controversial, clearly demarcating both fans and haters with a line that is empowering young women with a newfound sexual liberty for the new millenium. Here she is taking a bathroom break with her tomboy-styled baseball cap, sweatshirt, jeans and sling bag. Well, at least she left some toilet roll for the next person. Always the considerate one, that Lena!
Toronto Instagrammer, @Samay.Mov is rocking this earthy-toned tomboy blazer and fuck-whatever-else-I-wear-underneath look. The tawny-coloured blazer matches perfectly to the auto mechanic jumper which is finished off with purple lipstick and ultra-geek girl glasses. It’s offbeat but it works. Nice one!
