It’s series #7 of of our inspiring tomboy style looks of the week. So which styles are currently rocking Instagram and beyond? Well, here they are and oh, remember, wearing is caring.
Yo, yo, yo! Are you guys ready for Week #7 of our inspiring tomboy styles of the week? In case you didn’t know what this series is all about – well, we started it to celebrate and appreciate the women who are inventing their own timeless inspiring classic tomboy looks. So check out the cool tomboy styles of this week’s amazing tomboy personalities.
Check out the new-wave punk stylings of tomboy, @Calls121 where she has gone full jumper suit in this photo with a strap-on blue leather chest pouch to finish this look off. If you’re looking for more tomboy style inspiration, you can dock your ships at her Instagram account here.
@Jaiperdumavaste is Nabile Quenum, a street photographer who lives in Paris. Here, she has captured a model with a classic tomboy look where white shirts sing kumbaya with a pair of blue mom jeans. There’s loads of tomboy styles being captured in her street photos from fashion events around the world and you can find them on her Instagram account. You won’t want to miss it.
The next awe-spiring tomboy style look comes from market editor of ELLE, Harriet Stewart whom we have featured before. She is back this time because she has wowed us with this Beatles-inspired Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band tomboy chic look. She’s gone space-tro too with the straight leg boyfriend jeans and silver boots – just in case that Beatles-esque jacket encounters any Martians on the way to the swanky office. Check out Harriet’s uber-swagg-a-licious Instagram account here.
@MRSTREETPEEPER | @HANNEGABYSEES
@MrStreetPeeper aka street photographer, Phil Oh has done it again with a great 80s retro new-wave punk goth shot of model, Hanne Gaby Odiele chilled out on the hood of a pink ride after a night of heavy clubbing. Can’t go wrong with the leather jacket and jeans sprinkled with a copious dose of Robert Smith impassiveness here.
Brazilian-born Ford model, Cristiane Stam is photographed here by @VanessJackmanPhotography in a retro 70s-styled classic tomboy look that was a look we all wore in the 70s as kids. Bell bottoms and tops (turtlenecks for those in the cooler climates) was the quintessential tomboy staple in any of our childhoods. It’s amazing how this style has persisted beyond the Brady Bunch and today, it’s a look that can still be worn with much cool chic without your mum interrogating you about raiding her closet.
Chilling out with her Coachella-styled California desert-style look, @Soleainesa is back on our list for simply being able to exude the relaxed music festival tomboy chic look, without overdoing the hipster vibe. She’s paired off a pair of shorts with a cowgirl hat and leather sling bag that is fuss-free and gets you at front row of most stages. Check out her personal style here.
